Junior baseball....the future of our game.

Baseball Tasmania is looking to the future! ...

If you are passionate about the sport of baseball, and would like to see kids playing our great game, then read on.

We are putting together a sub-committee to investigate re-establishing junior baseball and T-Ball in Hobart. As such we are looking for expressions of interest from suitable people who want to have input into getting this off the ground. Ultimately, we are looking at having some junior baseball and T-Ball being played in late 2015. Note: you do not need to be a baseball player to be involved.

Email us at baseballtasmania@yahoo.com by 30th November if you would like to be considered for this role.

Wonderful turnout for yesterday's Clarence Angels t-ball "Come and Try Day". Great work by Nigel O'Brien, Fiona Don, Evelyn Seabourne, Jared Rush and a couple of ex softball parents. Northern Stars and Derwent Dolphins will be holding their initial "Come and Try Day" on Monday, from 5.30 to 6.30, at Corrie Jones Park.

Confirmation today from Sinclair's that as the Batter's Up T-ball league is part of Baseball Tasmania, they will extend their 10% discount to members of the t-ball league. At the moment they have limited supplies of t-ball gear beyond a tee ball set which includes a bat and ball. David (18/9/2015)
